Beyond Sight 2026 is taking a little more time.
Registrations have been slower than expected. We also recognise that there has been a high volume of climbing events this year, which may have affected participation.
We’re planning to bring Beyond Sight back as part of our anniversary celebrations in late March or early April 2027. We’ll confirm the new date once it’s finalised.
If you’ve already registered, we’ll reach out to you directly to arrange a full refund. No action is needed from you for now.
While we take a little more time with Beyond Sight, our team is also working on something new for you. 👀

Competition Requirements
Team Boulder
- Team of 4 climbers
- At least 1 female climber
- Maximum of 1 Intermediate (“Inter”) Category climber
- No Open Category climbers
Blindfolded Highwall
- Team of 2 climbers
- Teams are self-formed. There is no requirement for either climber to be visually impaired, and visually impaired climbers will not be assigned to teams by the organisers.
- If both climbers are sighted, they may sight-guide each other
- If one or both climbers are visually impaired, the team must nominate a dedicated non-climbing sight guide
- A dedicated non-climbing sight guide:
- does not climb during the competition
- must complete Personal Registration using their personalised email link and pay the $10 sight-guide fee
- will receive the participant's pack
- All participants must be at least 13 years old by birth year.
- All participants must have an Outpost Account with a completed waiver.
How Registration Works
- Step 1: Captain creates the team and enters each teammate’s name, mobile number and email address. The captain’s own Personal Registration and PayNow payment are completed in the same step.
- Step 2: Personalised invitations are emailed to every remaining climber and dedicated non-climbing sight guide.
- Step 3: Each teammate completes Personal Registration and PayNow payment using their secure link. Their submitted participant details become the authoritative registration record.
Joining the other competition later? If another captain adds you to the other competition, use the new personalised invitation sent to you. The system will recognise your existing registration and calculate the applicable bundle top-up automatically.
Register a Team
The captain’s Personal Registration and PayNow payment are completed as part of team creation. Enter a valid email address and mobile number for every remaining teammate so we can send their personalised registration link.
If your team registration has expired but you still wish to participate, please contact Outpost Climbing. We may be able to assist manually, subject to availability.

Use this page only if Outpost Climbing has asked you to resubmit a payment for an existing Beyond Sight 2026 registration.
Check Team Status
The Team Reference and six-digit Private Access Code have been emailed to the captain. They were also displayed immediately after the team was created. During the original 72-hour provisional hold, captains can also edit teammates who have not yet completed Personal Registration and resend their personalised invitations.
Enter the captain’s email address used when the team was created. After verifying the email address, you can reset the Private Access Code for any team registered under that captain’s email address. For security, existing Private Access Codes cannot be retrieved.
